Mitti First Rain Candle

Mitti is the word for earth, and this is the candle our name comes from. It captures petrichor — the scent of the first monsoon rain on dry soil — with cool vetiver and crushed green leaves. Every cup is thrown and glazed by hand, so no two are quite alike. Choose the glaze that suits your room.

Wooden wicks crackle softly — that is the wick, not a fault. Trim to 3 mm and snap away any charred wood before each light. Burn for 2–3 hours the first time so the whole surface melts. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Every candle is poured by hand, cured for two weeks, then checked before it is packed. Natural soy wax can show a light frosting or wet-look patches against the glass, and hand-glazed ceramics vary in colour and speckle. Neither affects how the candle burns — they are the clearest sign that a person made it, not a machine. Photographs are taken in natural light; screens vary.

Dispatched within 1–2 working days. Complimentary shipping on orders from ₹999 on many PIN codes — the exact charge is shown at checkout before you pay. If a candle arrives damaged or is not what you expected, tell us within 7 days of delivery and we will replace or refund it. Candles that have been lit cannot be returned.
